The O5/DCAPC is the command armored personnel carrier of the Order's Pax Dei.

Background[]

The O5/DCAPC Command APC is the Order battlefield nerve center. In addition to being able to transport Crusaders and Templars, it houses the Order Deacon - the equivalent of the Crayven Field Commander. The Command APC can carry up to 20 fully armed and armored Crusaders without sacrificing its excellent combat maneuverability. It is equipped with fully hydraulic rear doors to ensure that the infantry can enter and exit the vehicle no matter the circumstances.

The turret located on top of the vehicle mounts a slightly modified 200 kilocycle Electro Discharge Cannon that has a very useful armor penetrating capability. The weapon is also capable of limited air defense, even though it is not its primary purpose.

The Order Command APC is extremely robust and can operate under extreme conditions that would wreck many other hoverdynes.

A modified version of the Crayven SULAC-29 Repair system is mounted on the Command APC that enables it to swiftly repair units.[1]

Overview[]

The O5/DCAPC is the Order equivalent of the CLSV-601 Rhino, fulfilling identical functions on the battlefield. Like all hoverdynes, it moves more quickly than its counterpart.

The O5/DCAPC is the commander's personal vehicle. One is present on every Order mission, and it is automatically unloaded by the first dropship. Should it be destroyed, the mission is automatically failed.

The O5/DCAPCfills several roles in addition to being the commander's vehicle. It is one of the few unlimited sources of healing, and can heal any infantry, hoverdyne, or allied terradyne. It cannot heal aerodynes. The O5/DCAPC also acts as a personnel carrier, able to carry up to three squads of infantry. It is reasonably speedy and can keep up with most hoverdynes. Transporting infantry inside the O5/DCAPC is usually faster than having them walk to a destination outside of exceptionally rough terrain.

The O5/DCAPC's weapon deals a small amount of damage, but its armor penetration ability is decent, able to damage medium terradynes and hoverdynes even with frontal hits. It has weak armor, taking damage from the lightest arms, but it has a very high amount of health to compensate for this. Given that it cannot heal itself, however, it is best kept behind other units.

Unlike most other units, the O5/DCAPC comes with no special modules or activated abilities.
